Pros: I find my Pirastro Aricore strings sensitive and responsive.I'm delighted with the tone I can produce with them as are my audience. My former favourite strings always deteriorated noticeably after about a week. My pirastro aricore strings are showing signs of being a lot more stable.
Cons: They could be cheaper or even on special offer. Buy two sets get one free?

Pros: Given that my violins are of modest quality and could sound rather thin, I find these strings avoid 'scratchiness' and sound quite warm. Compared to others at similar price, they seem to get a mellower sound from the instruments I use.
Cons: I haven't found any problems with these strings.

Pros: These strings produce a very good tone on my late 19th Century violin. Warmer and more rounded than Dominants.
Cons: These strings could do with being a bit less expensive.

Pros: These are spare set for my daughter so not fitted yet. Recommended by her teacher to replace same type of strings when they are required. So can't comment on the strings themselves (assume they will play like the current set which sound excellent) but delivery nice and quick.
