Well worth the money for a student fiddle
4 out of 4 found the following review helpful

Pros: I was using the bow that came with my fiddle - a standard issue hardwood one from an entry-level outfit. This bow is a completely different world. Not only is it lighter and more comfortable to use, with nicer lapping and less bounce, but it sounds the strings SO much better, especially the G string. It's like playing a completely different instrument. Well worth the sixty quid it cost.

Cons: The seam where the lapping joins together isn't absolutely secure, but nothing a dab of super glue won't fix.

Other: Very well packed and promptly delivered. The String Zone is really stellar when it comes to service.

Keen Amateur

A bow whose performance belies its price.

Pros: Lightweight, lovely tone, fast and feels capable of coping with anything I want it to do.

Cons: When it arrived there were two loose hairs which came free and had to be snipped off.
