Excellent quality and value. Fits all small size violins and full size.
Adjustable shoulder rest of good quality which can fit all sizes 1/8 to full size. We recommend using this rest for 1/4 to 3/4 instruments for optimum performance.

Pros: A really well designed shoulder rest for beginners, that easily adjusts as they move up to the next size of instrument. Seems robust and comfortable and promotes excellent holding of the instument. The Artino SR 9 fits securely, rubber/plastic and so is unlikely to fall off just before performance.
Cons: In practice this shoulder rest is so much better than, sponges, cloths or other devices. But initially students parents need to be advised not to undo the brass screws when they help put the instrument away. Out of some 20 I have used in the last 18 months, only one so far has developed a problem where one brass screw sheared off.

Pros: Great choice shoulder rest for size of child (age 5) and adjusts for when they move up sizes. Feels more comfortable and was cheaper than any I could find elsewhere and was dispatched and received within 48hrs even over the festive period. Would certainly use this site again.
Cons: Have not found any cons yet.

Pros: This has proved to be a big success with my young son - much more effective than the sponge and rubber bands he started out with! Would recommend it to any junior fiddle player.
Cons: No 'cons' at all.

Pros: My 5 and 6 year old pupils on 1/8 size violins find it comfortable. It is good value. I haven't tried it on larger violins yet.
Cons: The rubberized feet tend to slip if the rest is not firmly in place.
Other: Just wondering about the maximum size as it says 1/8 to 4/4 on the box
