A non-marring, lever-lock clamp holds the tuner securely to the instrument while allowing easy application and removal.
The precision violin tuner is not only perfect for tuning, the unique mounting system and fast pitch response allow it to be used as an effective practice tool for referencing and improving intonation while playing.
Please note this is a new model which DOES NOT feature a metronome as shown in the product video.

A convenient and useful gadget.
Pros: Clips on easily and securely and is visible so I can tune 'on the shoulder'. Fairly quick response I use it for checking intonation when playing more difficult passages, then when I switch it off I am usually playing more in tune. Switches itself off after a reasonable time so that helps the battery.
Cons: Metronome doesn't seem very useful for me. I prefer a sound personally. It is a bit expensive compared to my good Snark tuner.

Easy to see, helps with intonation, silent tempo,
Pros: Compact and not in the way, Leaving my old tuner clipped on was like having the space station hanging of the tip of my fiddle.

Other: I've used a drum machine for years with my guitar, and when I first used it I spent a week or so before I could keep time with it, So I know that if I stick with the tempo light on the violin tuner it will come, and that's me with a silent tempo,

Very useful gadget, better than other tuners.
Pros: You can easily see the readout when in playing position, making it easier to tune even in a noisy environment, and this also helps with scales. Responds reasonably quickly, and more reliably than tuners that clip on to the neck Switches off automatically to conserve battery.
Cons: Seems a bit erratic when in higher positions - then again this could be me. When using for scales practice, the # symbol is a little hard to see, especially confusing when in a 'flat' key.

So good I have bought a second one
Pros: Easy to install. I believe it to be very accurate I can see my accuracy as I play No stress, damage or marks to my violin
Cons: That I hadn't discovered the D'Addario NS earlier

Great little tuner!
Pros: Very handy little tuner, fits well on my fiddle and I leave it on there so it's always available - no scrabbling round to find it in my case or risking leaving it behind somewhere. I also find it easy to use - nice clear display and I like the metronome facility too.
Cons: None really...
Other: Had to wait a while for it to come in to stock but, I received an email as soon as it was available to check if I still wanted one.... it was received within a couple of days.
