Good price but not 100% hypoallergenic for me!

Pros: Good price

Cons: Still had slightly itchy hands after use, but less so than after using regular rosin.

Best rosin for me.

Pros: It gives my violins a nice tone and also stops me sneezing.. Not as powerful perhaps as some other rosins, I prefer tone to power any day.The only rosin I use now after playing for more than 50 years, good price too.

Cons: No cons, though may need a few more applications ?

excellent option for people with a dust allergy

Pros: Definitely less dust than other regular rosins, and a good grip on the strings.. so combination of what is most needed

Cons: none

The title "hypoallergenic appears to be justified

Pros: In recent years I have suffered from a "runny nose" whilst playing the violin and using ordinary resin. This has abated considerably since I have been using the Geipel hypoallergenic resin.

Cons: This product does not have quite the grip of ordinary resins but this is of little consequence.

Prompt service.
2 out of 5 found the following review helpful

Pros: Hi String Zone, I haven't had a chance to use "Guipel Hypoallergenic violin rosin" yet because I am waiting for the old rosin to wear off my second hand bow before applying the hypoallergenic stuff in order to avoid any long term effects from the old rosin. However the mail order service was prompt and the double over order was dealt with and refunded quickly and efficiently. Thankyou. Dafydd.

Cons: Waiting to use it.
