Made in France through years of experienced techniques and from only the best sourced natural materials, Jade Rosin is a very popular with professional violinsts, viola players and cellists due to its smooth grip. Produced in a delicate shade of green and wrapped in a velvet cloth inside a plastic container, Jade rosin also produces less dust than most others.

Pros: Non-allergenic as I turned out to be allergic to a substance -abitol- present in tree resin. This brought me out in severe facial eczema! Decent sized block of rosin, like the plastic container.
Cons: No cons
Other: I don't find it hard to apply or ineffective as other reviews had suggested. Like the unusual colour!

Pros: I like this rosin, some say better for violin than cello. Most rosins are too bright for my left ear. I get a nice smooth sound, but not dull ,heard to apply it little and often for best results.
Cons: no cons.

Pros: A boon to allergy sufferers, this is an effective rosin. Lightly applied, it features low dust and low scratch.
Cons: Possibly a little more difficult to remove when cleaning the strings.
Other: Not my favorite rosin.
