A Sweet-sounding string for a Sweet price
3 out of 3 found the following review helpful

Pros: REALLY nice sweet intense sound for a good price, suits my setup really well (Obligato C,D,G+ Jargar A). A great string, do go for this if you have a cello-sounding viola.

Cons: I put it on and it began to unravel within two days, however StringZone sent me a replacement. Hopefully the replacement will last longer!

Great sounding string
1 out of 1 found the following review helpful

Pros: Strong, focused sound, and manages to fit in with the Evah Pirazzis on my viola well too. Not too 'pingy' like other A strings.

Cons: None

Other: Probably best suited for a chamber player or soloist, but if it suits your viola, then it will work well within orchestral settings too.

Pros: I find this make of A works well with the three other Warchal strings and it produces a sweet tone

Cons: Takes time to settle down

2 out of 5 found the following review helpful

Pros: Very little

Cons: Thinness of tone

Other: Haven't used this string for about 10 years. I have the feeling they have changed... sadly for the worse
