Strong and Elegant - no need for spare parts
5 out of 6 found the following review helpful

Pros: Solidly made and attractive to look at, no perishable rubber bits! Should take many years of use.

Cons: I would have liked it to have a way of fixing it at the best hight. It still occasionally drops off unexpectedly if the position is not quite right.

Other: My favourite shoulder rest is the Voigt. It was supremely comfortable and never dropped off. Unfortunately the are not made any more.

Mach One shoulder rest
3 out of 3 found the following review helpful

Pros: The plastic is quite sturdier than I imagined it would be. The cushioning is comfortable and the legs are different and quite good

Cons: I thought it would be much more curved in shape by what I saw in the picture..it surprised me by being so flat. When I tried it out I didn't quite like it as it was uncomfortably sliding across my bony shoulder. My teacher seemed to like it though..she liked the fact that it was flatter but still slightly curved.

Other: Overall it was a good buy..at least I have a very good spare shoulder rest in case I need one.

Good product

Pros: Comfortable and less fussy than my Stentor one. It will never scratch my fiddle.

Cons: Took a bit of time to find the best adjustment but it's stopped falling off now
