Pros: A traditional looking professional violin case made with very high quality materials both inside and out. Lightweight, compact and easy to transport with its very comfortable shoulder straps. The shell will provide good thermal protection and it will withstand rain well as it has valance on the lid that overlaps the sides when the case is closed. It is very stylish in an understated way and much more attractive, in my opinion, than the 'plastic' looking cases in vogue with students.
Cons: This is not the case to buy if you wish to carry a lot of music as it does not have this facility. It is also not a "bomb proof" case, buy one made with a plywood shell if you want this, but you will be carrying a lot of extra weight as a result. However it will stand up well to daily use.
Other: Delivery is very quick from The StringZone even with their free postage. They have also offered to order for me items that are not on their extensive website. Their prices are the lowest on the web that I can find!
This is a great quality lightweight violin case
Pros: This is a really great quality violin case. It's sturdy but lightweight and worth the money
Cons: No cons, but don't choose this case if you want a lot of interior storage. It's perfectly fine for storing all the usual items though (rosin pencils etc) plus there's room for 2 bows and a string case. And my wolf shoulder rest fits in easily.
Other: Delivery was quick, easy, and secure
