Description

The market leader in professional grade orchestral strings. Set of 4 in medium tension. Choice of steel or gold plated E. Intense and brilliant sound with the widest possible dynamic range. These strings are best suited to advanced student and professional players and work best on high quality instruments.

Available in three tensions, Evah Pirazzi strings have a core made from a modern synthetic multifilament fibre which contributes to a very intensive and powerful sound. Ideally suited to orchestral and solo playing.

The strings have outstanding playability and exceptional response at any of the dynamic levels, a complex sound, rich with overtones based on a brilliant core sound and enormous projection.

Expressive, with great nuances and enormous dynamic range combined with outstanding tuning stability. These strings are absolutely insensitive to variations in temperature and humidity and are also suitable for electric violins or violins equipped with piezo-pickups

E-Goldsteel option: This string is more brilliant and powerful sound than the Silvery Steel E-string. This string has a different sound profile from Oliv and Obligato Goldsteel E-strings.

Using a loop end E? The use of a protector to prevent the tuner hook breaking the string is essential with loop end E strings. We cannot accept claims for strings broken by the adjuster hook. Click here to purchase this item.

Excellent! competative prices and prompt delivery.

Pros: Very happy with these strings. I feel the gold E string gives the 'edge' for sweet tone. The StringZone is a very good place to buy strings as the prices are excellent. I have just baught a set and they were only £2.55 more than they were when I first baught some 3 years ago from StringZone! They also were posted to me very promptly.

Cons: I have no complaints as yet!

Best strings, reasonable price, delivered quickly.

Pros: My favourite strings. Expensive but worth every penny for the tone.

Cons: Expensive, but I always buy a full set. It is better value for money.

Other: The String zone is very reliable with its deliveries at a reasonable price.

Like getting a new violin!

Pros: This was the first time that I'd changed strings for about 30 years. It was like getting a whole new instrument, more sound and a deeper sound on the lower strings...amazing!

Cons: Can't think of any....

Best strings I've found!

Pros: These strings have made a huge difference. Their resonance has made intonation easier and my violin sounds far better.

Cons: I didn't particularly like the E string. For my violin I've found a Superflexible much better.

Evah Pirazzi -- great strings for a price

Pros: I have tried every other string because these are expensive, but each violin is different and these strings, with the gold E, are by far the best.

Cons: This isn't really a con but a fact of life: they take a while to settle in and you must not ever stretch them for tuning, as they will lose their tuning -- not good for expensive strings!

Other: Sweet, fast, great for chamber music. I love them.

Good strings for the right fiddle

Pros: I like the tone on the gold plated E string

Cons: They take quite a while to settle - am still having to retune all the time after three days. They don't really suit my Wolf Brothers violin, but I have swapped them onto a contemporary hand made violin, and they are just fine.
