* All strings are ball end, unless otherwise specified.
A universal string of great quality suitable all types of instrument and player standard Obligato strings sound warm and full, yet have a brilliant, rich overtone spectrum and focused tone. Excellent playability and response throughout the entire dynamic range

Great
Pros: - Good resonance - Good sensitivity and response - Stable intonation - Easy to change/re-string - Rarely slips - Durable and lasts quite long
Cons: - On my previous violin this set didn't project as much as the Evah Pirazzi strings, but on the last two I've had, Obligato appear to have been the best.
Other: Either way, a very reliable set of strings on most instruments. They are my go to set for everything now for solo, orchestral and opera performances and tend to last slightly longer (without losing sound quality) than other strings.

a string to express your thoughts.
Pros: responsive, good tone across the range but especially in the upper notes, responds well under any dynamic.
Cons: none I can think of, except change the name - it implies in Italian (with an extra b) a certain boundness, constraint. In portugese it means belly button .Most musicians spend a lifetime finding their inner voice , trying in fact to free themselves from restraint.
Other: name suggestions; voice, voce dello spirito, voce liscia,

Great for warmth and responsiveness.
Pros: Warmth, responsiveness, resonance, colour.
Cons: Slightly less projection.
Other: Settling in time, particularly of the A-string, seemed unusually long. Around two weeks after putting the strings on it was still dropping in pitch significantly more than the others.
