Pros: I bought a set of Passiones about a year ago and really love the sound... much warmer and resonant, overall really enjoyable to play. Something about the way the bite and speak of the strings work i really like.
Cons: But, the string winding comes undone really really easily. Basically if you undo the peg to tweak the angle of the so you can grip it easily to tune, there's a high chance that when the tension drops the winding unwinds. something to do with the inner core coming down to lower tension at a different rate and separating. I had the fingerboard shot recently and another string went this way. Third time. Then the A just snapped. So reluctantly I can't recommend these at all... they are expensive, sound lovely and gorgeous to play but in my admittedly small sample size, then are woefully unreliable.
