Pros: These are a good compromise between more expensive (Jargar) strings but are a whole lot better sounding on budget cellos than the nasty ones that are usually supplied with them. They sound less metallic and edgy and the tensions are good, unlike Dominants (like rubber bands!) which are expensive. They are also not too thick so they fit throught the pegs and adjusters easily. I use them for basic student cellos (Stentor/Prima basic models) Strings available for all sizes of cellos too.
Cons: Not as much depth of sound as some more expensive strings.

Pros: Loved the new Strings. Ordered the wrong ones (for violin ) by mistake and the refund was dealt with quickly and the new ones arrived pronto. My teacher is impressed with teh pirasttros and is going to recommend them to other students.
