Good Chin rest
Pros:
Really comfortable.
Cons:
I have been spending a bit of time on it to get used to having my jaw bone stay in the centre the whole time, other than that I am liking the centre mounted chin rest, it makes sense for me, but I understand it is a very personal thing. I must mention the new chin rest has changed the way I grip the violin, hence slightly different way to do vibrato, bowing angle is slightly different too, I think it is because with the traditional left mounted chin rest, a violin is generally higher on G&D strings, low on A&E strings, centre mounted chin rest can provide that flat angle, for the price it is worth a try.
I guess this is not Cons if you are open to experiment!
