Happy
1 out of 1 found the following review helpful

Pros: Good sound

Cons: None

Other: I have previously used Larsen and Pirastro Permanent strings on my modern cello and whilst I wouldn’t say that Versum are necessarily better, I’m pleased with them and am enjoying the richer sound of the G and C.

A good addition to the range

Pros: The A string produces a much sweeter sound than any other string that I've tried.

Cons: The price.

A good open, clear sounding A string

Pros: A very nice open sound without any hardness. Easy to play on as not too high tension.

Cons: Nothing to complain about.

Other: If anything, you could say it lacks character, but it's a good straightforward sound.
