Description

An interesting violin of the British Isles School

George Buckman was an amateur violin maker who produced about 50 instruments up to his death in 1920. This is a typical example of the work of this type of maker, good craftsmanship if showing a slight lack of direction and style. This instrument is in excellent condition and has been set up in our workshop. it bears the maker's original label Geo. H Buckman, Dover 1919

Please note vintage instruments are only available to personal callers at our retail premises in Egham, Surrey. Click here For details of our store.
