This string features a unique coil design which changes to an almost invisible wave when in use and fully stabilised.

Pros: There are already many good E strings on the market, but this is a new idea that works. The medium tension is perhaps best for private practise, private chamber music, and blending in at orchestra. It's a warm tone that is almost Baroque. It is a refreshing change from other E strings, but if you are thinking of performance, projection, and audience perspective, you might try the the forte version, and even that is not as loud as Pirastro EP. Excellent E strings that everyone should try. Hope we see further development for us to try out. The medium tension has a coil spring that straightens out as you wind up the string, and the forte version, instead has a wavy line in the same place.
Cons: None. A very exciting new idea.

Pros: I WAS INTRIGUED TO TRY WHAT APPEARS TO BE A VERY INNOVATIVE E STRING. I HAVE BEEN USING IT FOR ABOUT TWO WEEKS AND I AM VERY IMPRESSED. IT HAS A VERY CLEAR AND FOCUSED SOUND AND MORE DEPTH THAN A NORMAL E STRING. IT ALSO FEELS VERY COMFORTABLE UNDER THE FINGERS. I HAVE PREVIOUSLY USED NON WHISTLING E STRINGS WHICH HAVE MOSTLY BEEN FINE, BUT THE WARCHAL E STRING SEEMS TO ME TO BE A MORE BEAUTIFUL SOUNDING STRING.
Cons: SLIGHTLY STRANGE TO PUT ON BECAUSE OF THE " SPRING " NEAR THE TAIL PIN, BUT THIS IS ONLY A INITIAL HINDERANCE. I WOULD HAVE QUITE LIKED TO HAVE TAKEN THE PLASTIC BRIDGE PROTECTER OFF THE STRING, THIS IS NOT POSSIBLE, BUT I PUSHED IT ON TO THE TO THE WINDING NEAR THE LOOP AND THIS HAS BEEN FINE. ( THESE ARE NOT CRITICISMS MERELY OBSERVATIONS ).

Pros: Warm sound straight away. Seems to be playing in OK with reservation below. . Easy to fit.
Cons: It's supposed to be good at not sqeaking but so far, after 2 weeks it's not fulfilling that promise.
Other: It may play in more. Feels thin under fingers.

Pros: Easy to play, soft to the touch and no tramlines on the fingers. Maintains same tone all the way to the top A (the one past the harmonic E two octaves above the open E string). Similar feel to the gold Infeld Red E string. It is easy on the ear and very pleasant with a nice rounded and mature bright tone.
Cons: Not really an against but does the coiled spring that unwinds when the peg is tightened really make a difference. I would like to try the string without its coiled spring, but that is not to be.
Other: Goldbrokats and Dominants sound like trumpets compared to the new Warchal. Much harsher but not brighter.

Pros: Very pleased that the E string has cured the problem I had with screeching when transitioning from the A string to the E string. It's a problem I'd had for many years.
