Only buy if you have tried them on your cello.

Pros: Nice feel under the fingers.

Cons: Very harsh edge to all the strings. They HAVE improved with playing but still require extremely gentle approach in order not to shout.

Other: Would NEVER buy a set again. Possibly fine tuners add to the metalic sound but the description did not say "not to be used with fine tuners" as other strings do.
