Pros: The first word which came into my mind when first bowing using this rosin was "Smooth". Pierre Guillaume rosin suits me and my playing perfectly. The right amout of grip needed, the core of the tone and the harmonics perfectly balanced. Little or no dust, no coating of the strings. Just perfect.

Cons: None

Other: The small diameter cake takes a little getting used to. The aluminium container protects it well and the rosin appears to be well cooked (darkish) and suits what I want from a rosin, which is a somewhat 'deeper' sound and it is french - like much of me.
