- Highly compressed Polyfoam shell with special wood inlays giving strength without weight.
- Large, lidded accessory compartment with additional space around head for shoulder rest etc.
- Padded back and sides to instrument compartment with suspension system, instrument tie, fixation pads in lid and colour coded blanket.
- 4 Gewa swivel bow holders and silk backing to bow positions.
- Teflon coated Conatex cover with full size music pocket, zip closure, rain flap and stud poppers.
- Quality Gewa lock, name tag, 40mm wide rucksack straps with shoulder pads. Subway handle.

Ticks all the boxes
Pros: Easily adjusted for snug fit for my small (15 1/2 ") viola. Room for a (curved) Bon Musica shoulder rest as well as separate lidded compartment for rosin, glasses etc . Separate compartment for music (and possibly even a music stand?). Comfortable padded straps.
Cons: Slightly bigger/heavier than I was expecting.
Other: My first new case for 50 years and I love it

Pros: Strong, fairly light. The size adjuster works very well which is important because my viola is only 15". A reasonable amount of storage space for shoulder rest etc.
Cons: The back pack straps are rather peculiar - thick and clunky and the case doesn't like flat when you have them attached.
