Hi-tech, top grade, spiral steel core strings.
Spirocore strings have a flexible spiral steel core. This core has greater elasticity than that of conventional strings, which means less inertia and a higher propensity to musical vibration.

Gauge, tension or strength are terms by different manufacturers to indicate the tension of the string at pitch. Medium is suitable for the vast majority of players and should be used as a starting point.
