Pros: The E string, Evah Pirazzi Gold Violin String had been recommended to me because it has a more melodic, more 'gold' sound. And as a beginner its easier for me to enjoy the sound of the high notes of the E string now.
Cons: There are no cons for me.
Other: String Zone was, for me, a completely hassle free experience. I rang up, asked for the String, paid over the phone, and the string arrived the next day. How easy was that?

Pros: The Evah Pirazzi Gold E has made a huge difference to the quality of the high notes I play, they are very clearly heard now. This string comes highly recommended :)
A good string, but keep an ear on it.
Pros: Good sound
Cons: Unusually for an E string in my experience it tends to go flat quite quickly when played. Having been brought up to pitch it invariably starts the next session sharp. It may of course be a quirk of the instrument.
Bright clear tones, good sustain and response
Pros: Bright and even tone readily achieved. Great response and clear distinct crisp notes in fast lively pieces, along with good sustain on slower excerpts. Rounded clear pleasant top notes more easily attained.
Cons: Difficult to fault.

Pros: Gives a very mellow warm sound that is more suitable if you have a very loud violin that rings like a church bell.
Cons: The sound is not as rich as Obligato Gold. The string itself is not gold as advertised in the name and does not give the same feeling of confidence that a gold string brings to the party.
Other: Will not be purchasing this string again because it is not worth the high price tag.
