Very good for some people.
Pros: A very well made product, and comfortable in use.
Cons: The rest is fixed and doesn't swivel to accommodate your individual shape.
Other: Because it is fixed it kept being pushed off forwards by the point of my shoulder. I have to give it 1 star for this reason. If it happens to fit, it is excellent.

Does what it says on the tin
Pros: Sits securely on the fiddle and doesn't seem to be at any risk of either falling off or leaving marks. The shoulder rest is easy to adjust, although I've had to fiddle for quite a long time to get it right. It is quite comfortable and the foam backing clings nicely to your clothing.
Cons: None so far

Godd value and well made.
Pros: It's firm and sits well on my shoulder. It is good value - in that it is well made. The design (there is a slight whist in the length to angle the violin correctly) is good.
Cons: Nothing to dislike. I have ordered the extension so the right side of the violin when on my shoulder is higher.
Other: I might try the Wolf Forte Secondo because you can really 'fit' this to your shoulder.

Everest shoulder rest from the string zone
Pros: After spending a lot of money on a previous shoulder rest, with my violin body being small I struggled to find one that was comfortable and would remain sturdy during play. The Everest is immensely comfortable and suits my shoulder curvature perfectly.
Cons: Nothing
Other: String zone promptly refunded and exchanged to the Everest after I made a mistake with my order. Fantastic customer service.

Very pleased
Pros: As a beginner to the violin (at age 40+) I needed a shoulder rest but not being sure of the best one to get I plumbed for the Everest. It fits my violin just great and has not fallen off or moved once. I have found the height adjustment to be good and most of all I find the rest to be comfortable. The price isn't too bad either. Delivery from Stringzone was very quick.
Cons: I have not found any yet.
