Performa violin shoulder rest - Padauk

The Performa shoulder rest has been designed to give the player a uniquely ergonomic playing experience, especially to those who are preferring to play without a shoulder rest. It is designed to be completely customisable to the players needs and includes a selection of legs and pads as standard.

The shoulder rest features a wide surface area which is intended to distribute the weight across the players shoulder and collarbone. The three feet can be used in combination to create the perfect playing position, and on the lowest settings it can almost feel like there is no shoulder rest at all, with the rest sitting very close to the back of the instrument.

Research in the development stages resulted in pain associated with playing, alleviated in the neck, arm and shoulders.
