I play in several classical orchestras, sometimes with professionals, and I am comfortable with the depth of tone I can get from this string. For fiddle music, it speaks easily, helping with fast playing for reels and jigs. Cons: When I was doing a lot of ceilidh gigs, I needed to replace them more often. Did you find this review helpful? B 16/03/2012 15:42 Plymouth, United Kingdom Beginner	Zyex A string good tone on starter violin Pros: Good feel to this string and improved tone of my violin, particularly for the A string, which has had a slightly harsh tone. I am pleased with the string for this reason. Cons: String took quite a while to settle down and hold tuning. Previous Zyex A did not last as long as an alternative manufacturer but this may too heavy fingerwork by me. trying to relax more! Other: Good prompt friendly service from the stringzone.
