One pair equals two superb shoulder straps.

Pros: I've split a pair of these straps to give me a superb shoulder strap for each of two violin cases. Absolutely brilliant - far superior to alternatives.

Cons: Suggestions re previous reviews: a touch of Loktite on the screw thread of wire security loops will ensure that they will never come undone inadvertently; a 2" belt slide (30p)on the strap tail will ensure that any adjustment will stay put until such time as you wish to change it. Perfection!

Other: Just the usual noteworthy service from String Zone.

strong straps

Pros: The straps are very strong and the padding is very soft

Cons: The straps need to be longer so that you can adjust the length, especially if you are tall.

Excellent price for product, excellent service
1 out of 2 found the following review helpful

Pros: Easy to fit, secure, comfortable wide straps, easily adjusted.

Cons: None

Other: Used for heavy double case (violin and viola) to replace standard webbing straps. Extra strap length worth having; read comment that suggested straps for violin case would be too short. Extremely comfortable to carry.

Good concept, flaw in execution.

Pros: Strong and comfortable.

Cons: The wire insurance clips (brilliant idea) that go around the karabiners for extra security come unscrewed very easily, two of them have now fallen off and been lost.

Gewa cello case straps review
0 out of 1 found the following review helpful

Pros: • Gewa have redesigned the straps making the core strap thicker so the neoprene padding won’t split so easily over time. • The main points of weakness on my old straps were the plastic buckles which broke eventually (after many years). These have also been replaced with thicker heavyweight buckles. • The screw fastenings have been replaced with a trigger clip and safety cable which seem ok. We'll see how they last!

Cons: The cons were on my old straps. As i have to say something, the safety cables are a bit of a faff but are necessary if one of the trigger clips fails.

Just what I needed
0 out of 1 found the following review helpful

Pros: I was a little dubious that these 2 single straps would actually turn my cello case into a rucksack, especially as the case doesn't have very many hooks to clip onto, but it does indeed, and it makes carrying the instrument around really comfortable. All I need now is some more opportunities to play (chamber music, preferably)!

Cons: None
