Description
A nicely refined bow with natural finish, round top and octagonal underside.
Every bow from L'Archet is individually selected by The String Zone.
Hand crafted in Portugal with Mexican Pernambuco. This is a species that has the same properties for sound and playability as Pernambuco from Brazil, and on all tests carried out by the manufacturer, players could not distinguish between the two.
Unlike its Brazilian cousin, Mexican Pernambuco is in plentiful supply, and forestry is maintained with replanting to ensure longevity of the species.
A certificate will be provided for all bows made with this wood ,making it clear it is a different species from Brazilian Pernambuco and for the avoidance of any potential CITES issues.

Unless stated otherwise all our bows are supplied with a starter coat of premium quality TSZ Corde dell'arco rosin. Good, fresh rosin is essential to obtain the best performance from any bow.
