Good value and good quality

Pros: A superb wound string giving a much fuller and mellow sound than unwound

Cons: Not a bad price, but it cost almost as much as my second hand cello

Professional

Returned to an old favourite

Pros: Comfortable to play

Cons: Takes a while to play in

Other: I played on Jargar strings for years before switching to Larsen, and hadn't ever used them on my old english 'cello. Recently however, I needed something more comfortable in the higher register (preparing John Taverner) and so put an old Jargar A on to try - it made such a difference being even a slightly lower tension! I'd forgotten how easy these strings are to play, and was impressed by the tone quality.

Produce perfect

Pros: Very nice staff over phone

Cons: Problems with phone numbers/email. Will not order again unless agree that can be sent without registered post as added significant amount to cost of one string for son. Is it not possible to just have post office record that it is being sent?

Would happily do business with you again.

Pros: The whole process of going on the web site, setting up an account and ordering the strings (A and D) was simplicity itself. I was also pleasantly surprised by how quickly they were delivered!
