Very useful tool

Pros: It is very easy to use, much easier than the standard one that usually comes with a chin rest. The prong is the correct length so it doesn't poke through and scratch the varnish. It can be attached to a key ring which can be handy, and is small enough to put anywhere in the instrument case.

Cons: The prong is slightly too wide for adjusting tiny chin rests (1/8, 1/4 sizes) so not perfect if you have young students but still a very useful tool to have.

Solid and safe chinrest key.

Pros: Easier to use than the little ones that come free with chinrests. It was solid and had a handle that was easy to hold. It was much safer and less likely to scratch the instrument than improvised keys.

Cons: The pin was too thick for my chinrests and needed to be ground down a bit to work.

Other: I've only given it a three because of the need to grind it down. It didn't take long to do and otherwise I'd have given it 5.

Durable and at a good price.

Pros: Durable and does the job better than chinrests come with.

Cons: Handle could be slightly longer to make chinrest tightening easier.
