SYNTHETIC CORE.
The power string from Pirastro. Focus and volume for the orchestral environment.Synthetic core for tuning stability and ease of use. Evah Pirazzi strings produce a large volume of focused sound ideal for professional and serious players of all standards.
The Chromesteel 'A' features a penetrating sound which is often used by professionals on high end instruments. Select the alternative Aluminium 'A' for a more forgiving playing experience.
Strings available in one size only and recommended for violas with a minimum vibrating string length of 36cm or 15.5" body length. Customers have had no issues fitting these on violas up to 16.5" - Click small image above for details.

Pros: The improvement in sound and tone quality compared with my previous strings.
Cons: I would have liked a different coloured thread at the bottom of each string, just to differentiate which string was which.
