Pros:
I’m returning to the violin after the best part of 40 years layoff. My grade 8 from 1981 is now a mediocre grade 5 at best, but this bow has made even me sound good. Excellent balance and and easy to control but also bounces in a nice predictable way for spiccato etc. The tone is strong and even, especially when wound up to the upper end of the recommended tension range. Pleasantly surprised at how good it is for the money. Recommended!
Cons:
Some of the finish around the frog and tip is a bit sketchy.
