Pros:
I've been using the Pirastro Oliv rosin for years, but I'm finally playing the modern repertoire I love again with the need for some volume. I changed to this rosin and it has really done the job. I'm getting more volume with less effort and I've stopped shedding hairs from misapplied pressure.
Cons:
I don't like the pouch. I really prefer a box to preserve the rosin in my case, and I imagine this would be cheaper for the manufacturer too.
