a very good light rosin.
1 out of 1 found the following review helpful

Pros: Salchow light rosin is easy on my left ear, most are too bright.

Cons: no cons.

Other: recommended to me by a French violin maker in Canterbury.

Great Rosin - but why no container?

Pros: It is excellent rosin - helps produce a really good tone

Cons: There's no tin or box - luckily I had an old tine that it could fit into - but for the price a little box wouldn't go amiss!

Grippy but not gritty

Pros: Just fantastic! Why have I waited 50 years for this? My previous rosin was dark and cost 71p! Makes far more difference than experimenting with strings (sorry, String Zone - but I've tried quite a few). Just the right combination of grippiness without grittiness.

Cons: Nowt.

Good investment.

Pros: Very good product. Clearly the result of many years development. Expensive, but does improve the sound of my cello.

Cons: Pity it doesn't come in a tin or box.
