Great but care when widening to fit larger strings
1 out of 3 found the following review helpful

Pros: With minor modification to the width of the jaws they fit my 17 inch Nate Tabor viola equipped with Warchal Karneol strings and Temple rosewood saddle. Lightweight and robust fine tuning mechanism

Cons: Widening the jaws to fit wider strings slightly fractures the sides at the base of the hooks. Yet to see if its a problem in the long term but they work well for now.

Does the job perfectly

Pros: Easy to fit. Well-made.

Cons: Nothing

Other: My previous hook-style tuner only took loop-end strings, and my only spare E was a ball-end. This one should work with either. I suspect ball-end strings should last longer.

A fine tuner
1 out of 3 found the following review helpful

Pros: it works, good range of adjustment, inconspicuous black colour, jaws can be bent to accept thicker strings with ease. Better tuning range than the hook type.

Cons: Like all such tuners, not so effective with non-metal strings but still worth it if you have an old fiddle with stiff or otherwise dodgy pegs.

Other: I have more than one fiddle with 4 of these on the tailpiece and it seems to work although arguably not as neat as a Wittner with integrated tuners. On some old violins you may need to shorten the tailgut to allow room for these tuners.
