A very useful device to increase player comfort and bow control. This simple soft foam rubber tube fits over the bow thumbpiece and is very popular with professional players. It can be moved back and forth to allow for changes in hair length and to achieve an individual fit.

Good product, but lack of wear resistance.
Pros: The product is very comfortable in use, and it has made a big difference to my playing, allowing me to develop a more relaxed grip. I have been using it for more than 3 years now.
Cons: The product doesn't last very long before it wears through. Until last year it needed to be replaced after a few months, but recently the product packaging changed, and apparently also the product, which now only lasts a few weeks, if that, which is disappointing. As the product is quite expensive for what it is, I am now actively looking for a more sustainable alternative.
Other: I would give the product a 5 star rating for its good qualities, but because of the cost and considerable lack of wear resistance, I have reduced this to a generous 3.
Grade 8+
Very useful for string players of every type.
Pros: I've used these little grips on every bow I've owned over the last 25 years. They are a first rate product which I have found to be very helpful.
Cons: There is nothing to dislike once you have mastered the knack of fitting them to the bow.

Worth a try
Pros: This is a great little device to help hold the bow, particularly if you suffer from sweaty hands. It certainly gives you confidence that your bow hold is more secure and helps to have a more relaxed grip without worrying about dropping it. It can be a bit fiddly to fit, particularly if you bow already has a fairly thick thumb grip. Follow the instructions carefully and exercise a bit of patience is the key.
Cons: A bit pricey for what is a small bit of foam, but it does the job.
Other: Excellent service from the String Zone as usual. Don't bother paying for nex day delivery. Standard is quick enough.

Lives up to its name!
Pros: I've always had trouble with my right hand slipping up the bow to the left. Not sure why. Anyway, my teacher suggested the Suregrip, and it has made a big difference :-)
Cons: What's not to like! OK, it took a bit of sliding on, but that was soon sorted.
