The Boveda '2 Way Humidity Control System' small instrument kit is best suited to Violin, Viola, Ukulele, Mandolin, Clarinet & Oboe cases.
Achieves and maintains a constant relative humidity (RH) range between 40% and 60%, the industry standard for wooden instruments.
Boveda creates the perfect humidity balance for your wood instrument. This clever system automatically maintains the humidity inside your case to a safe level. Using this product means there is no longer a need for extra humidity readers or gauges. Boveda automatically adds and absorbs moisture slowly and precisely using only pure water and natural salts.
Extremely simple to use and requires no maintenance other than replacing the pouch once it reaches the end of its lifetime.
The 'Small Instrument Kit' includes 1x 'Boveda Leakproof Holder' and 1x 'Boveda Humidity Control Packet'.
Replacement packs are available here, containing 4 x Boveda humidity control pouches in a re-sealable pouch.

Boveda - humidity control for your instrument
Pros: They do what they say they’ll do and help maintain humidity protecting my guitars in their guitar cases.
Cons: Not easy to tell when they need replaced. The cloth containers are very expensive if purchased separately.
Other: Could be improved if included a sticker to write start date of bag use….would make it easier to know when to replace after 6 months.

Not working for me.
Pros: Comes in a very nice looking box.
Cons: Humidity in my case was always at 60% put one in case and still around 60 so added the second and still always at 60. It's not my hygrometer as I have an incase one and a digital one and it doesn't seem to have any effect whatsoever. I have a youngman case that's made of material so maybe it's not insulated enough to work?
Other: We are sorry to hear the Boveda wasnt working as sucessfully as expected, the manufacturer advises it can take a good week or so to get the moisture inside the case and in the fabric of the case down to the desired 45 – 55% however, we have passed your comments to the suppllier.
