Plays like a £50 bow.

Pros: Prompt delivery, easy to order, excellent packaging

Cons: I am disappointed with this bow. I knew when I ordered it that it wasn't top of the range, but neither was it the cheapest. It was advertised for up to grade 8 so I thought it would suit my experience well. When it arrived I had to remove a number of hairs as they were too loose. The timbre is very scratchy and harsh. I have reverted back to my old bow. I would have returned it, but having removed the loose hairs it was no longer fit to sell on. I'm hoping that maybe it will improve as my bowing improves.

Other: I live on a boat, and although my viola thrives in this environment, my wood bows are not so happy, so I felt that a carbon bow would be better. Unfortunately this bow doesn't play well, and my standard does not yet merit an expensive bow.
