Pros: I bought these strings to replace the ones provided with a viola outfit I purchased a few weeks' ago in Lerwick. The strings arrived a couple of days after placing the order. The strings have a warm, nuanced timbre and, apart from the usual microtuning, seem very robust and reliable.

Pros: They are OK, on the right violin that they suit.
Cons: Took a while to adjust the sound post to balance the E and A strings for tone and volume.
Other: Very good when set up correctly. I generally find that synthetic strings suit much older violins. But these can perform well on newer instruments.

Pros: The sound which seems rich and mellow. Also the price was very good in my opinion.

Other: I bought these strings for the school viola that my son is borrowing. Wow, what a difference they’ve made. The improvement is so noticeable that my husband can hear the difference! They were easy to change and seem to be keeping their tuning very well - in my ignorance I don’t know if that’s to do with the viola or the strings but all good.
