Pros: Evah Pirazzi remains my favourite set of strings - especially the A and D. Excellent response, complex and colourful timbre, and little to no play-in time. As a set they are beautifully balanced, and also blend well with Larsen or Pirastro Permanent G and C strings. Of course this will vary from one instrument to the next.

Cons: Once fitted these strings are best off staying on until it's time to change them. They do less well with being taken off and refitted than other strings in their price range.

Evah Pirazzi strings transformed my cello

Pros: Lovely resonant projection transformed my quiet victorian cello. Use a full set but change the A and D string more often.

Good. Clean and mellowish

Pros: All good. I was advised by the manufacturer to use this as a replacement for a dull d string in a set of evah pirazzi softs. Was clearer and matched the rest of the set.
