Godd value and well made.
Pros: It's firm and sits well on my shoulder. It is good value - in that it is well made. The design (there is a slight whist in the length to angle the violin correctly) is good.
Cons: Nothing to dislike. I have ordered the extension so the right side of the violin when on my shoulder is higher.
Other: I might try the Wolf Forte Secondo because you can really 'fit' this to your shoulder.

Everest shoulder rest from the string zone
Pros: After spending a lot of money on a previous shoulder rest, with my violin body being small I struggled to find one that was comfortable and would remain sturdy during play. The Everest is immensely comfortable and suits my shoulder curvature perfectly.
Cons: Nothing
Other: String zone promptly refunded and exchanged to the Everest after I made a mistake with my order. Fantastic customer service.

Very pleased
Pros: As a beginner to the violin (at age 40+) I needed a shoulder rest but not being sure of the best one to get I plumbed for the Everest. It fits my violin just great and has not fallen off or moved once. I have found the height adjustment to be good and most of all I find the rest to be comfortable. The price isn't too bad either. Delivery from Stringzone was very quick.
Cons: I have not found any yet.

Advantages of the Everest shoulder rest.
Pros: I have only been playing for a few months and the everest shoulder rest has really helped. It is quick and easy to fit. The rest puts the violin in the most comfortable position for playing. I managed to play for twice as long before felling stressed and needing a rest. I would recommend it to anyone, it will make playing more comfortable and pleasurable.
Cons: No cons, they are amazing!

Good simple design but check the fit.
Pros: A good simple design, the fewer parts there are the less to go wrong. The grips do grip well and the shape fits the shoulder, however....
Cons: It fits the shoulder provided the user is young, slim and supple. Alas I am none of these and my head would have to have been at an impossible angle (for me).
Other: Not wanting to be beaten I made a small extension bracket which allows one of the grips to be moved and the shoulder rest then moved away from the shoulder and become more of a 'chest rest'. It works and I'm happy.
