Highly recommended for the price
Pros: Comfortable for my child to use. Easier to put on the violin than the KUN we had before. The arms are more cushioned so less likely to scrtach the violin whilst setting up.
Cons: It's slightly bigger than the KUN for a 1/8 sized violin.

Comfort and security
Pros: very comfortable even though I have no neck! Adjustable size (moveable feet) means it doesn't slip off the fiddle. No rubber to split and need replacing on feet.
Cons: Too big to go in fiddle case as doesn't fold down
Other: Acomfortable and secure shoulder pad.

The Everest gives comfort and confidence.
Pros: Fits well to the violin, gives good support and, above all, is comfortable.
Cons: I found no negative points to raise.
Other: Some other, cheaper rests, designed to collapse, did not give sufficient support, slipped off of the violin and, at times, dug into my collar bone. The Everest avoids these problems.
