Pros: Reasonably sturdy and lightweight for carrying around music festivals. Easy to store if playing in a busy pub session.. Good affordable price
Cons: Wouldn't leave it unattended as I'm not sure if it would offer enough protection to my fiddle if dropped or trodden on.

Lightweight rucksack case - good for bad backs.

Pros: Very light and easy to carry on my back. Holds my violin securely and has space for two bows and a shoulder rest. Front pocket is useful for holding smaller things - rosin, glasses case, but...
Cons: there is no pocket to carry music, so I have to carry it in a separate bag. Not possible to put it with the violin - not enough space.

BE WARNED. CHEAP INTERIOR.
Pros: The exterior of the case was acceptable and indeed light.
Cons: The interior of the case was badly finished: 1. The "plush lining" was actually very rough and scratchy. 2. The violin housing was not glued well to the rest of the interior. 3. Worst of all, when closed, the lid of the case was touching the bridge and risked damage, despite my bridge not being particularly high.
Other: Wanted a light case that wasn't too expensive. Unfortunately it was too cheap. Only suitable for a kid with a cheap Chinese factory violin.
