Pros: The slightly thicker string.

Cons: The string sounded very dull against the other strings. Would not recommend.

Pros: Warmer sound than other jargar strings I have used.

Cons: Doesn’t have the edge that the Larsen has, produces less strident sound.

Pros: nice tone

Cons: None

Other: I've used Jargar strings for the past 23 years but it's the first time I've used the 'Special' strings. Although I only put the new strings on last week (and haven't played on them a great deal), so far, I quite like the tone and level of volume they produce - so far, so good!
