Great for the bow but not for Pizz at all.

Pros: Very easy bowing - immediate start with no scratching - this is what I bought them for
Cons: Very dark and flat for Pizz. Having just set the bass up I found it v difficult to evaluate the best sound post position because the strings only show any tone with the bow . I bought them specifically for orchestral but when Pizz is required there is no twang at all and actually hard to hear yourself at all. “ for the discerning musician” is the manufacturers recommendation. Hmmm I think I need something more multi purpose than these.
