Description
The Kaplan cello strings produce a rich and complex tone. Conceived for the most discerning musicians, they stand up well to extreme bow pressure, and provide a powerful but warm sound.
Kaplan cello strings are scaled to fit a 4/4 size instrument with a playing length of 27 1/2 inches (700mm). Heavy tension strings allow for greater projection and volume potential, while light tension strings allow for easier bow response. Medium tension strings are optimized to the needs of a majority of players.

Nice C string with a warm, even sound
Pros: Nice, warm sound that matches the other Kaplan strings. Doesn't need much playing in.
Cons: Same as my comments for the G string - may be not as immediate as e.g. Evah Pirazzi or Spirocore, but also less of the 'tungsten edge', so that's the choice you make...
Other: Recommended as a good deep-sounding C string that sounds well straight away.
