Similar to the Teka model but flatter. Solid ebony
Flat style rest with large plate.

Pros: Very nice wood and finish. Large, comfortable area but not overly large.
Cons: The metal clasp adjuster is a poor fit. It rattled loose very easily. I’ve tried 5 chin rests and this is the worst. Not good a chin rest that is not exactly cheap.

luxury!
Pros: Large area, therefore comfortable. Nice shape and rounded edges.
Cons: Presses heavily on the tailpiece, so possibly needs some filing to create clearance; possibly not, since there isn't any movement.
Other: The other review mentions the metalwork, which initially seemed odd because the tubes had been fully screwed down into the lower piece, so possibly the uninitiated will be flummoxed, but once you dismantle the metalwork and readjust it, it's fine. In fact the large size of the wooden part makes for firm contact with the violin without excessive tightening.
