Professional

Great string to free up the sound of the cello

Pros: This is just a great string - I feel I can produce the sound I want with minimal effort. The sound sings and it feels smooth and easy under the hand. I'd say these are probably the best strings on the market right now, and although expensive they are well worth it.

Cons: Nothing.

Other: When I first tried Il Cannone strings, I used the 'Direct and Focused' versions and loved them straight away. The 'Warm and Broad' version that I am now using is just as good; in fact, I'm not sure I can tell the difference if I'm honest.
