Chrome steel on solid steel core. Ball or loop end. ( please note the loop end is gradually being phased out and all will be supplied with a removable ball).
compatible with both medium and long scale Larsen viola strings
Recommended for violas with a playing scale of 35-38cm which covers most violas of back length 15-16.5 inches

Pros: Fits very well with my dominant strings and makes a much sweeter and nicer tone than their A string
Cons: nothing yet
Other: Instantly improved the higher sections of pieces, and didn't need much adjustment when first used.
