Just as master luthiers and composers have embraced this divine proportion to create masterpieces, leatherwood have woven this mathematical elegance into their bespoke range. The "Golden Ratio" rosin features a unique 61.8% Supple recipe, further enhanced to capture the perfect balance of grip, texture, richness, and tonal clarity. This recipe intensifies rich, deep, bold, and warm sound colours, while maintaining strong focus and soloistic qualities.

They have chosen an elegant 'Cherry' timber for the casing, with a rich burgundy Australian leather wrap, embossed in gold with the Golden Ratio symbol. These luxury materials are sourced from Australian suppliers and hand made in the Leatherwood workshop.

How will the Golden Ratio Help my playing? "In modern playing there can be a tendency to favour power, clarity and volume, which sometimes comes at the expense of depth and colour.

In exploring our bespoke rosin range, we were very curious to hear the sound of 61.8% Supple - The Golden Ratio - and found it to be robust, rich and colourful in sound. We wanted to intensify these characteristics for a sound that was more profound, as bold as can be, and allows the full colour range of the instrument to sing forth.

We found an ingredient balance that allows these qualities to be central to sound, while still maintaining soloistic qualities, good projection and strong core to the sound."
