Chromesteel on steel core. 3 gauges. Removable ball end, steel core. Use of a fine tuner is recommended with this string.

Recommended for violas with a playing scale of 35-38cm which covers most violas of back length 15-16.5 inches

Keen Amateur

Slightly disappointing

Pros: smooth to play and holds tuning well.

Cons: Not the deep resonant sound that I was expecting. I have used this type of string on my cello for a long time now. The sound can be slightly harsh as I play higher. I am used to a powerful but juicy sound. This can sound brash at speed. I am hoping it will 'play in' a bit more.
